Complete Network Services (CNS) has achieved yet another prestigious award  The Contractors Health & Safety Accreditation after completing the online PQQ.

CHAS is established as the market leader for Health & Safety pre-qualification in the UK.  Being CHAS approved reduces duplication as suppliers compliance is accepted by all CHAS buyers.

Achieving the accreditation continues to display CNS’s continued commitment to the Health & Safety of our employees and customers and also our environmental responsibilities.

CNS was assessed on its ability to demonstrate its compliance with important elements of Health & Safety Law, our Health & Safety Policy Statement and our organisation for Health & Safety.

CNS are committed to continually improving our employees skill sets and their safety is paramount, this year alone our employees  have attended training courses such as

• SSSTS – Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme
• SMSTS – Site Management Safety Training Scheme
• IPAF – International Powered Access Federation
• CSCS – Construction Skills Certification Scheme
• Asbestos Awareness Training
• Confined Space Training with Breathing Apparatus
• First Aid Training.

After achieving compliance CNS is now approved to work for all of the CHAS buyers

Achieving the accreditation reaffirms CNS’s dedication to providing without compromise, quality services, compliance and commitment to our customers increasing demands regarding health and safety, environmental and corporate governance. Working in partnership with Bovis Lend Lease, Achilles developed BuildingConfidence as a supplier pre-qualification and accreditation service that is rapidly becoming recognised as the standard for supplier excellence within the UK construction industry.

Many major contractors use the service to evaluate their supply chains, raise performance and build longer lasting relationships with key suppliers. The accreditation demonstrates that suppliers like CNS are taking a proactive approach to continuous improvement within areas of their business such as health and safety, corporate social responsibility, environmental practices, sustainability, quality and finance which are fully assessed and audited annually to provide customers with benchmarked performance criteria.

The award was presented following a detailed, one day audit. During the course of the audit Achilles review all areas of the company including Quality Management, Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Accident & Incident reporting, Sustainability, Social & Ethical policies and Sub Contractor Management.
