CNS Director Paul Ingham is taking on a major fundraiser, aiming to scale Snowdon on behalf of Burnley FC in the Community and Pendleside Hospice. The Snowdon Walker Mountain Challenge is designed for less experienced hill and mountain walkers, allowing them to scale the highest peak in Wales with the reassurance and expert assistance of an experienced guide.

Burnley FC in the Community is the official charity of Burnley Football Club and a self-financing charity that relies solely on fundraising, sponsorship, grants and donations. They currently work with over 100 disabled youngsters and 500 disadvantaged young people per week and have affiliations with over 40 local primary schools and a further 5 secondary schools.  They also provide fun activity mornings for over 50s and run a really successful youth employability scheme.

Pendleside Hospice provides gold-standard care, compassion, medical and emotional support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and they also help patients’ carers and families to cope and even smile through difficult times.

Paul comments, “I’m delighted to take on this challenge as I’m a firm believer in giving back to the local community. CNS has supported many charities in recent years, and I’m always keen to take on a new challenge. I hope as many people as possible will be willing to sponsor me, so I can raise much needed funds for these important charities.

Paul has set up a Justgiving page for safe and secure online sponsorship.
