Having worked on site since 2006, CNS operatives have carried out many projects from day to day structured cabling installs (small works) to large scale cabling installations as part of scheme works carried out on site, we have adapted ourselves to work with many appointed building contractors and facilities management companies based on site including:

  • Sodexo FM.
  • Lend Lease FM.
  • Lend Lease PM&C.
  • Balfour Beatty.
  • Piggott & Whitfield.

CNS have carried out large scale technical installations since being awarded the contract and as a nominated installer to the Trust, CNS have been involved in all cabling installations across the campus, allowing for continuity and peace of mind to the Trust that they receive the highest standards of cabling installations with the same committed site based engineers.

Complete SOLUTIONS at CMFT

CNS are helping CMFT evolve their communications. Over the last few years there has been an inevitable migration of telephony services from traditional TDM based technologies to IP. The hospital’s need for CNS provided cutting edge IP solutions such as voice activated directory, contact centres, call recording systems and high volume switchboard has steadily increased. CNS have been involved in all phases of the lifecycle of these products, from due diligence & consultancy to implementation and support.

In October 2014 a large scale HP LAN refresh was completed by CNS. This refresh was configured and designed in partnership with HP’s own System Engineers, and included upgrades of core and edge network devices to the latest HP switch portfolio. As well as the physical upgrade, the network has been logically reconfigured in readiness for a potential move from TDM analogue and digital handsets, to thousands of IP handsets. The new configuration ensures that all virtualised applications, wireless IP DECT, mobility solutions and the handsets themselves are sitting on a network that is configured as ‘best practise’ for a large IP Telephony estate, in other words is highly available, has high-level performance and is easily scalable for CMFT for years to come.
